Happy Valentine's Day

Yesterday it was the Valentine's day , and everyone celebrate their beloved sweethearts. It is the time to share your loves and care to your important people in this special day . Maybe I got the influence from my husband, he is the one who doesn't care any special day including his birthday , he believes that everyday is a special and happy day if you are happy with someone. It is true and maybe we are together almost 23 years,I am on the different stage that have
been pursuing different things in our lives , children, family focuses would be first priority that we are no longer only focusing on two of us .
Having a simple supper with cake with the family is good enough for me, and I enjoy the every single moment with them !

Chilly days

Cold, cold, chilly , windy, I don't know how to best describe the weather for these few days, it is unusual in the winter Moncton that we have been having those cold days for over a week. Today it is minus 32 wind chill . And kids are not allowed to play outside .

Last night I started the C14 auto insurance virtual class, which is good for everyone in the cold weather. I don't want to go out if it is unnecessary .

Drinking coffee indoor and watching Micah to play by himself is good enough. Now he loves to talk to himself when he is creating something, or he is imagining something too!
I hope it will be warmer very soon'

My birthday

I found that I am no longer eager for my birthday for the recent years, coz the birthday will remind me I am getting older and older. Watching the kids grew up day by day, I suddenly recall I became a mom almost 10 years ago !! It is very true that for women, when they are twenty something , they are looking forward to their birthdays, and it is no harm to announce to the public that they are twenty, twenty-five or twenty-seven.. But once they pass thirty, it is not necessary to announce their ages anymore .
But it happens to Asian culture not western, I always see that my friends white Canadians , they don't mind telling people that they are fourth, fifty !

My birthday wasn't so special, we just went to the Japanese-Thai restaurant for supper .it was good restaurant and foods were good overall ! I am thankful that I can enjoy birthday with my family thought it wasn't so special ! But I can feel their loves !

Today I got a call from Francophone school for Micah's French program . He will start the special French classes in Feb before he starts the kindergarten.

I have been looking for it as I believes if he learns some French before starting kindergarten, he will have more confidence and love going to school. Right now he refuses to watch tv channel in French so I do worry about this .

The preschool of Small Blessing is excellent and he learns a lot of things from there, now he knows how to write his name and numbers too .

My French class

Today is Thur, I have the French class , when I came into my classroom, Jeehye was there already and she prepared her home-made Birthday cake for me, it was so yummy and great. Also she said she would plan a birthday party for me when Yoko is back from Japan!

I am so thankful that I made best friends from French class, it is uneasy for new immigrants to find her new networks when they first come to the new countries.

I have been counting how many snow days this year, same as what I did last year . So far we got two snow days and one happened on Sunday.

After becoming a driver, I am so sensitive about snow , I always concern if it will be too icy or greasy on the road, and my driving skill may not be good enough to deal with the icy road too!

As a Christian, praying to God is a powerful thing that you can believe that God can change everything, including your heart and your mind. When we have sins, I have to remind myself to confess it in front of God, He is holy and faithful.
Besides my French class, insurance courses, Bible study is one of the important thing i must do better this year .

Looking out of my window , it is snowing now but believe that God is in control no matter it is sunny, rainy, dark or light.

A peace of mind just came to me and I am now enjoying my peaceful afternoon !
