Chilly days

Cold, cold, chilly , windy, I don't know how to best describe the weather for these few days, it is unusual in the winter Moncton that we have been having those cold days for over a week. Today it is minus 32 wind chill . And kids are not allowed to play outside .

Last night I started the C14 auto insurance virtual class, which is good for everyone in the cold weather. I don't want to go out if it is unnecessary .

Drinking coffee indoor and watching Micah to play by himself is good enough. Now he loves to talk to himself when he is creating something, or he is imagining something too!
I hope it will be warmer very soon'

My birthday

I found that I am no longer eager for my birthday for the recent years, coz the birthday will remind me I am getting older and older. Watching the kids grew up day by day, I suddenly recall I became a mom almost 10 years ago !! It is very true that for women, when they are twenty something , they are looking forward to their birthdays, and it is no harm to announce to the public that they are twenty, twenty-five or twenty-seven.. But once they pass thirty, it is not necessary to announce their ages anymore .
But it happens to Asian culture not western, I always see that my friends white Canadians , they don't mind telling people that they are fourth, fifty !

My birthday wasn't so special, we just went to the Japanese-Thai restaurant for supper .it was good restaurant and foods were good overall ! I am thankful that I can enjoy birthday with my family thought it wasn't so special ! But I can feel their loves !

Today I got a call from Francophone school for Micah's French program . He will start the special French classes in Feb before he starts the kindergarten.

I have been looking for it as I believes if he learns some French before starting kindergarten, he will have more confidence and love going to school. Right now he refuses to watch tv channel in French so I do worry about this .

The preschool of Small Blessing is excellent and he learns a lot of things from there, now he knows how to write his name and numbers too .

My French class

Today is Thur, I have the French class , when I came into my classroom, Jeehye was there already and she prepared her home-made Birthday cake for me, it was so yummy and great. Also she said she would plan a birthday party for me when Yoko is back from Japan!

I am so thankful that I made best friends from French class, it is uneasy for new immigrants to find her new networks when they first come to the new countries.

I have been counting how many snow days this year, same as what I did last year . So far we got two snow days and one happened on Sunday.

After becoming a driver, I am so sensitive about snow , I always concern if it will be too icy or greasy on the road, and my driving skill may not be good enough to deal with the icy road too!

As a Christian, praying to God is a powerful thing that you can believe that God can change everything, including your heart and your mind. When we have sins, I have to remind myself to confess it in front of God, He is holy and faithful.
Besides my French class, insurance courses, Bible study is one of the important thing i must do better this year .

Looking out of my window , it is snowing now but believe that God is in control no matter it is sunny, rainy, dark or light.

A peace of mind just came to me and I am now enjoying my peaceful afternoon !

My first one

My first baby is no longer a baby for long time. He is a elder brother of my little one, and he is the first baby of us !
He is grade four now and he is currently participating Scout Canada( Cubs), karate , learning swimming and Clarinet.

He is described as a quiet, calm and happy boy from his teachers, and he is so focus on his study and reading . Being a great reader, my oldest kid is enthusiastic in knowing new things in the world from his books, he loves exploring science ,

Everyday I can see his growth, he is almost 70 lbs and I always feel that he is so strong now since he took karate classes.
Very soon I am sure he is taller and heavier than me , and I wonder if I can hug him and kiss him before bed !

My little one

My little one is no longer little , but he is still very tiny and short .. He is four now but I am so glad that he is above average for his development.
He is active, socialize , independent that he can handle a lot of things by his own. But he is quite emotional sometimes , drives me crazily and angrily too..

I enjoy being with him everyday , and I am sure he will change a lot very soon !

The growing 2M

During the Christmas break, I found that both Moses and Micah changed a lot on their attitudes to their siblings .
Micah relies on Moses more than before, and he is always jealous when Moses is playing with somebody , Micah will cry and attaches to Moses .
When Micah's behavior changes, Moses acts as a big brother, in which he is trying to protect Micah and teaches him academically too.
This afternoon, Moses asked Micah to write some words on the exercise book and did some counting, then Moses have Micah some stickers after . It is always great to watch them playing like that !

The age gap between them is so perfect at this moment !!

Christmas 2012

It was the 4th Christmas for our whole family spent here in Moncton. After my insurance exam Dec 4, I couldn't wait putting the tree with my boys and they were so excited too!
Micah is old enough to decorate the ornaments onto the tree, and he was very willing to help me for decorating the tree, Moses instructed him how to put the ornaments. It was so great to see them work together to make things happened.

Friends' visit made our Christmas more
Fruitful and this year we had Jeehye's family with us. Thanks God that He rinses me again Christmas isn't for food, Santa and the trees, the salvation from Christ Jesus is the key in Christmas in which He created the story , history and the calendar too.

Found the apps !!!!

Yeah, I just found that I can go into blogger via the apps from iPhone !! It is so convenient that I can still go to the blog even I am busy, I am sure I can write something before going to bed every day !!

Happy New Year 2013!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a New year resolution, I have to go to this blog again everyday. I finally found out the reason why I didn`t go to the blog everyday in the past was because that I had some pressure in adding the photos, or having difficult time to access the internet thru computer.. It will be easier for me to write thru my Iphone. However, adding the photos here isn`t convenient so that I should not stop writing because of those reasons.

Life is a complicated thing that you have to experience everyday, with sweetness or bitterness .. However, I always love to reflect my past but without words, I could not remember everything.

This morning, Micah didn't have preschool so I played with him at home, now he loves being asked by me for some questions like : which animal cannot fly  A) Bird
B) dog   c) eagle   
It is always fun to ask him and listen from him, time flies, he will go to full day kindergarten in Sept, I cannot wait to play with more during the days.

Today Moses is back to school from the Christmas break, everything seems to be resume normal,  school, cooking, cleaning, studying...
